Biography

Jacob Ankamah is a PhD Researcher in Economics at the University of Galway, Ireland. He obtained an MSc Quantitative Economics from Universität Jena in Germany. His research focuses on marine economics and economic valuation. Jacob’s PhD thesis examines public preferences and willingness to pay for MPAs in Irish waters using discrete choice experiments, econometric modelling and machine learning applications.
