The start of university life marks a significant chapter, full of both opportunities and hurdles for first year students and their support networks. Understanding the university's support systems and structure will help you to guide your student in the right direction when they need assistance.

Student Enquiry Centre (SEC)

The SEC is located in the heart of campus, just inside the doors of the Arts and Science Concourse. The team located there will be able to help answer or guide students on any queries they have. You can contact the SEC directly and they will be happy to help you and any queries you have over email or drop in to the SEC on the concourse for a quick chat.

Student Support Officers 

Often they are the first port of call for students who have personal, academic, financial or any other issues during their time at University. Where necessary your Student Support Officer will link with the full range of other specific support services available to students.
