Outreach

The Access Centre delivers a range of outreach programmes and events designed to inspire, inform and support students on their journey to higher education.

Uni4U introduces over 200 sixth class pupils from DEIS and Link primary schools across Galway City to university life through engaging on-campus experiences that encourage ambition and raise aspirations from an early age.

Uni4U+ provides a tailored suite of programmes for secondary schools throughout Galway City and County. Developed in partnership with participating schools, these programmes introduce students to university life, support informed decision-making and help them explore the opportunities available through higher education.

Throughout the year, the Access Centre also hosts a variety of events celebrating student achievement, showcasing our programmes and raising awareness of the alternative pathways and supports available to prospective students at the University of Galway.
