Project Approval Policy & Process (Works and Related Works)
The portal is now open for the submission of project proposals. Large approved projects will be scheduled for Summer 2026 and smaller-scale projects may commence earlier, subject to resource availability.
Before submitting your project proposal, approval must first be obtained from your Head of Unit and UMT member. Your UMT member will review the list of proposals submitted by your unit and determine their priority ranking (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.).
Please note: prioritisation by your UMT member does not guarantee that a project will proceed. Buildings & Estates will review each proposal and advise on the next steps.
Only project proposals that include valid budget codes will be considered. Proposals submitted without a budget code will not be assessed.
Space changes must be approved by Buildings & Estates in advance of submitting your project. Please submit your space request here before you submit your project proposal for consideration.
