University of Galway Wins SATLE Impact Award for Pioneering Project on Inclusive Learning
University of Galway’s Inclusive Learning project team received one of four strongly contested SATLE Impact Awards at a Higher Education Authority (HEA) event in Dublin on Wednesday 12 March. The Award was in recognition of the long-term impact of a 2020/2021 Inclusive Learning project aimed at strengthening equity and inclusion through student partnership and cross-functional collaboration. Dr Shivaun Quinlivan School of Law (project co-lead with Prof Lucy-Ann Buckley), accepted the Award on behalf of the wider team, highlighting how many of the project initiatives are now embedded in University policy and practice.
