At the University of Galway, we recognise that sexual violence & harassment, including, but not limited to, rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, and intimate partner abuse are matters of concern impacting university communities. Through our Sexual Violence and Harassment Policy and Procedure, we are committed to fostering a safer and more supportive environment for all students and staff

If you would like information or guidance on the supports available in incidences of sexual violence and harassment, or information on making a report, please contact Rebecca or Niamh in confidence. Rebecca.connolly@Universityofgalway.ie Niamh.kavanagh@universityofgalway.ie

Rebecca and Niamh can provide information on the supports available and the reporting process. There is no obligation to make a formal report. All interactions will remain confidential, except in the following circumstances:

· There is a risk to the health, safety, or wellbeing of the individual who made the disclosure or to another person.

· There is a child protection or welfare concern.
