Scholarship Terms & Conditions

  • Global Scholarships is University of Galway's international Non-EU scholarship program designed to attract and support outstanding students from around the world. Only applicants from Non-EU countries are eligible.
  • Eligible students can only avail of one Global Scholarship for the 2026/27 academic year. Students who receive more than one scholarship offer will have one of them (usually the lesser one) rescinded.
  • Scholarship students are required to pay 50% of the total tuition fee before registration, not 50% of the fee remaining after their scholarship has been applied.
  • Students who have been offered an Excellence scholarship must accept their scholarship on the Microsoft form provided within the stipulated acceptance window to be awarded. 
  • Specific college/school terms and conditions may apply.
