Part of the CRANN project focuses on identifying, reviewing, and organising existing environmental, structural, and climate datasets relevant to bridge performance. This includes analysing river monitoring data, bridge inventory information, and climate prediction datasets. Current scour risk assessment methods and monitoring technologies are reviewed to establish a strong evidence base that supports improved bridge risk assessment under changing climate conditions.  The CRANN project team is currently using the collected data to support the automation of scour risk management manuals with the assistance of Python libraries.
