DESCRIPTION

Career & Placement – Student Placement Self Service and Student Placement Administration is the current University of Galway’ s IT solution for the Career/Placement Office for managing the process of application, selection and recruitment of work placement students.

The Student Placement Self Service is used by Undergraduate and Postgraduate students who as part of their course are required to undertake a work placement.   External users, who are potential employers, use this application to post work placement positions, review CV’s, setup interviews and create job offers.

The Student Placement Administration is used by the staff in the Placement Office to control the self service for users.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE USE THIS SERVICE

Student Access Management

Student Authentication to Student Placement Self service uses the student’s campus account.  The student must have a work placement as part of their course in order to access the service.

Employer Access Management

Employer accounts and access is managed and maintained by the Business.

Staff Access Management

Staff authentication requires a local placement account.

AVAILABILITY

Career & Placement – Student Placement Self Service and Student Placement Administration is available 24x7 from on and off campus 

COST

There is no charge to staff for the use of Student Placement Self Service and Student Placement Administration
