Our Visual Identity

The ‘University of Galway’ primary logo is the identity's most valuable component – this element sets us apart from other universities and is used as a mark of authenticity.

Our identity is made up of two core elements; the University of Galway crest and the University of Galway ‘wordmark’ or text. Together these elements make up the University of Galway primary logo.

The crest and wordmark lockup should NOT be broken unless as specified in our brand guidelines.

If brand guidelines are not strictly followed you will be found in breach of the university brand guidelines and will be asked to remove your material immediately.
Information on the correct use of the logo can be found on page 11 of the brand guidelines.
Please note: the RGB colour mode should be used for digital work, while CMYK is used for print products. All third party design and print companies should ensure they are in compliance with the guidelines.
