Speaker Bio: Saeede Mokhtarzade is researcher and a Ph.D. candidate at the Irish Centre for Human Rights, University of Galway. Her research interests include legal gender studies, migration governance, and refugee law; she often employs a comparative and interdisciplinary approach in these fields. She has collaborated with migration research centers and worked with refugees and migrants in the capacity of NGOs. She also volunteered for teaching and empowering refugee Afghan children and women in Iran.
