IBPSA Ireland
IBPSA- Ireland

WELCOME TO IBPSA IRELAND
Established 9th February, 2012
Scope and Mandate
IBPSA-Ireland is founded to advance and promote the science and technology of building performance simulation in order to improve the design, construction, operation, maintenance and refurbishment of buildings. As building simulation is still a relatively rare practice in Ireland and mainly confined to the research sector, IBPSA-Ireland's primary objective is to promote building performance simulation as a means to improve buildings. IBPSA-Ireland will do this by providing a contact point for interested parties to get involved with organisations that are working in the area of building performance simulation.
Affiliation
IBPSA-Ireland is the Irish regional affiliate of the world-wide acting International Building Performance Simulation Association. We are linked to this Association but act as an independent organisation.

ASHRAE Ireland Chapter & IBPSA-Ireland will jointly host a Research Symposium on Building Performance Analysis to be held at Trinity College Dublin. The overall aim of the symposium is to bring together graduate students and researchers from Irish third-level institutions who are engaged in research related to analysis and simulation of the built environment. Given the diversity of ongoing research, the symposium will act as a unique forum to highlight both the breadth and depth of activity in the building performance analysis arena, as well as providing an opportunity for researchers to share their experiences. Invited keynote speakers at the symposium will be Prof. Vincenzo Bianco, University of Genoa and Prof. Dimitrios Rovas from University College London.
Venue: Museum Building Trinity College Dublin
Date: Monday, May 28th & Tuesday, May 29th, 2018
