Welcome to the College of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences at NUI Galway
The College of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences (CMNHS) is committed to providing all of our students with a strong foundation for academic achievement, professional success, and personal growth. Whether you are returning to study, or you are joining us for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you to campus and to your course programmes.
The CMNHS is made up of three distinct Schools: the School of Medicine, the School of Nursing and Midwifery, and the School of Health Sciences. Although you may study and interact mainly with your School, the entire College community is here to support you.
The University as a whole also provides a range of engaging and supportive resources to help you get started at University, whether you would like to take up Sport, join a Society, or visit the Student Health Unit on campus. You may have questions at this time and you will find answers on the FAQ page. If you do not find the answer you are looking for, please reach out to your programme director or year coordinator.
