In September 2025, we welcomed our first cohort of 40 Pharmacy students.
The students have taken part in interprofessional activities with medicine, mental health nursing, occupational therapy and biomedical science and have started adding skills to their University Skills Passport.
Students also visited Boots on Shop Street and the Galway Hospice.
Students are encouraged to explore opportunities for international travel. In 2026, one student travelled on exchange to Coimbra, Portugal, via the Twinnet programme. One student will also travel to a Clinical Pharmacology Summer School in summer of 2026.
