There are 2 ways to contact us: You can email us at buildingsandestates@universityofgalway.ie or call us on 091 492134, extension 2134 from Mon-Thurs, 9am-4pm and Friday, 9am-3pm.

In the event of a medical, fire or Gardaí emergency prioritise the call to Emergency Services on 999/112.

In the event of a local building emergency (eg leak, electrical, plumbing), the Buildings & Estates Helpdesk is available or the Security Office at the following number:

Report a Fault / Service Requests

Buildings and Estates use an online request management system (Pemac Assets) for fault reporting / managing maintenance requests. Contact your Buildings & Estates Unit Liaison to log requests with us online.

What type of requests should I log on PEMAC Assets?

Blocked toilet
Broken blinds/chairs
Door/directional signage
Fire Prevention
First Aid Boxes – New and Replenishing Supplies
Floor Covering
Hang white/notice board
Heating & plumbing fault report
Landscape and Grounds Maintenance
Leaking water tap in a laboratory
Lift repairs
Localise leak in a building
Pest Control
Pothole repairs
Power socket fault in office
Replace light bulb
Request for desk pedestals & recycled furniture
Touch up paint on a wall

For operational reasons cleaning requests are not logged on Pemac Assets. Send an email with details of your request to buildingsandestates@universityofgalway.ie.

Online Request Forms: Keys & Locks | Stewarding & Equipment Moves | WEEE Waste | Pod Maintenance

For Key Requests or Lock Changes please fill out this form. For any issues relating to Access Control, as this could be security / Health & Safety please contact Security on 091493333 to log the issue with our security staff.
For Stewarding/Transportation (moving equipment / furniture) and WEEE Waste Requests please complete this form.
