The Schola Cantorum was established in 2012 by St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church – Ireland’s largest medieval parish church still in use, and boasting a musical tradition stretching back over 500 years. Up to ten choral scholarships annually are offered jointly by the University and St Nicholas Schola Cantorum. These scholarships offer students the opportunity to be part of this tradition, and avail of unique opportunities for musical education and vocal development. More information is available here.

Awards

Our awards recognise the academic achievement across the spectrum of students in the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies. The purpose of the awards is to encourage each student to develop his/her academic potential to the fullest, by setting a realistic threshold of excellence and rewarding every student who attains that level. A great deal of thanks and appreciation is due to our sponsors as without their support and commitment over the years, many of the awards would not be possible.

Awardees will be contacted with further details.
