The International Office at University of Galway looks forward to welcoming you to the new academic year.

Semester 2 (Spring) Orientation 2023/24 will take place on the following dates:

Support Services Orientation 9:30 am - 1 pm Thursday January 4th (Bailey Allen Hall)
Academic Orientation  8:30 am - 4 pm Friday January 5th (Bailey Allen Hall)

Support Services Orientation consists of an overview of the following:

  • library services
  • computer services
  • sports clubs and student societies
  • student health
  • counselling services
  • banking
  • student safety
  • volunteering
  • GNIB Registration (for Non-EU/EEA students)

 

Academic Orientation consists of an overview of the following: 

  • classes on offer
  • prerequisites
  • timetables
  • venues
  • examination arrangements
