Careers Information

Our graduates pursue careers across a wide range of sectors.  Many of our alumni are now working in senior positions with international organisations, UN bodies, public policy and research bodies, Government and diplomacy, legal practice, peacekeeping, or in advocacy and activism.

Drawing on the wide range of courses that we offer, and the focus on skills development, graduates can tailor their programmes to suit particular interests and career opportunities in fields such as climate justice, peace and conflict, international criminal justice, refugee and migration law and policy, child rights, gender equality, business and human rights and international development.

University of Galway’s Careers Development Centre is available to provide support to students throughout their study programmes. See: http://www.universityofgalway.ie/career-development-centre/
