Film Screening: Testimony
The Irish Centre for Human Rights at University of Galway, is delighted to host a free film screening of the movie 'Testimony'. The movie 'Testimony' is a documentary that depicts the fight for justice by survivors of Ireland's Magdalene Laundries and Mother and Baby Homes. The film screening is supported by Special Advocate for Survivors of Institutional Abuse.

Parking: The University of Galway Park and Ride car park is located next to the ILAS Building and can be accessed via the entrance to Corrib Village, off the Upper Newcastle Road. Most spaces are for staff and student permit holders but there are specific Pay and Display/Pay by Phone spaces available for visitors if they purchase a ticket from the nearby machine or online via the app (apcoaconnect). To exit the carpark, drive up to the exit barrier which will automatically rise.
Accessibility: The ILAS Building is fully accessible. It has 3 accessible bathrooms, one on each floor (and a lift to upper floors). There is a fixed hoist and changing area in one bathroom and a portable hoist which can be used in another. There are wheelchair accessible spaces in the auditorium where the film screening will take place. Accessible parking spaces are available for permit (blue badge) holders outside the ILAS building
