Current Research: As part of the United Nations Joint Global Programme on Essential Services for Women and Girls Subject to Violence and in partnership with the Centre for Global Women’s Studies, Jurgita conducts research focused on supporting the pilot and implementation of the Global Resource Investment Tool of the Essential Services Package for women and girls subject to gender-based violence (ESP).

Current Research: Gillian is currently working on an Irish Research Council COALESCE project exploring human trafficking, forced migration and gender equality in Uganda. She is the module instructor of LW5109 ‘European Migration Law’, part of the International Migration and Refugee Law and Policy LLM at the Irish Centre for Human Rights.
