Windmills in a field

The Galway Wind Park Scholarship Programme offers students living within 15km of the Wind Park an opportunity to apply for 50% funding support towards third level education fees up to a maximum of 3 years. The aim of the Galway Wind Park Community Fund is to maximise value and impact for local communities and people in the long-term. One of the most ways we can do this is through powering education and skills development.

Geographical scope

All those living within the 15 km of Galway Wind Park and undertaking third level courses in Galway and across the island of Ireland are eligible to apply to this Scholarship programme.

Students should apply directly to Atlantic Technological University (ATU), University of Galway or FORUM Connemara CLG to apply for the Scholarship programme. The Galway Wind Park Community Team are not involved in the selection process.
