Bhavya Bhatia | MSc Digital Marketing
While moving to a new country is exciting, it can also be daunting, especially when you start thinking about the bigger responsibilities that await you after graduation. Finding a job isn’t just a box-ticking exercise anymore; it’s something you need to start working towards from the very first day at university. I’m beyond grateful for the support I received from the Career Development Centre in helping me navigate this journey. From the very beginning, they organised multiple sessions covering the essentials - CV preparation, using AI tools effectively, building a strong LinkedIn profile, and more. I was also extremely fortunate to be paired with my career coach, Gráinne, who took the time to truly understand my skill set, aspirations, and help me build a structured career plan. The story didn’t end there. From recommending relevant roles to refining my CV and preparing me for interviews, she guided me through every step of the process. Her encouragement and personalised advice helped me secure a job that I genuinely love. I also truly appreciate that graduates continue to have access to CDC services for up to three years after completing their degree - an incredible resourin Connect with Bhavya

Dear Alan, I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to give you a quick update on my job application with DPD, since you kindly helped me earlier with some of their interview questions. After the interview, I was informed that I’ve been offered the Java Developer position at DPD (a permanent role). I was told that HR was preparing my contract and asked for my personal details. I promptly provided everything and suggested starting on a Stamp 1G visa before switching to the Critical Skills permit. The hiring manager replied that they were delighted I’m joining their team and that HR would follow up soon. Thank you so much again for all your help and support!in Connect with Zi
