An exciting part of many courses of study is the opportunity to study abroad. The College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies has links with partner universities around the world that enable students to experience studying in an overseas university. The Erasmus programme runs within Europe, and the Study Abroad programme operates further afield, extending as far as Canada, the US and Australia. Depending on their course of study, students can apply to spend a semester or a full year at a university abroad. Language students can expand their vocabulary in a country where their study language is spoken, while students in other disciplines can experience alternative methods of teaching and learning. Our links are primarily subject and/or programme specific so please discuss opportunities with your relevant Programme Director or Subject Coordinator.
