Accreditation

The ICAPSS is the only internationally accredited simulation facility on a clinical site in Ireland. 

We are accredited by the Association for Simulated Practice in Healthcare (ASPiH) since 2022.

The identification of the ICAPSS by ASPiH as an accredited facility means that the Centre has undergone an external quality-assurance process against recognised standards for high-quality simulation-based practice. ASPiH describes accreditation as providing assurance to healthcare professionals, educators, regulators and patients that organisations delivering simulation meet recognised standards of quality.
