Áras Moyola was designed by Kelly Todd Architects and built by BMcC Construction between 2002 and 2006. The building is home to the School of Nursing & Midwifery, the School of Sociology and Political Science and the School of Health Sciences.

Áras Moyola consists of two wings, connected by a central, glazed atrium. It predominantly consists of a concrete frame and is clad with copper. Most of the building uses natural ventilation and daylighting.
