Pre-Sessional English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Programme

The English Language Centre is committed to providing our international students the opportunity to develop their English language and academic skills towards reaching their fullest potential as university students. We recognise that the language and skills required for academic study can be challenging and we support you as you build and develop these skills throughout your studies. We provide Pre-Sessional English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Courses to help students prepare for academic study as well as In-Sessional English for Academic Purposes (EAP) workshops throughout your studies with us.

The Pre-Sessional English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Programmes and the Pre-Masters English Language Pathway are for students who hold a conditional or unconditional offer to a programme at University of Galway.  We offer a range of courses to suit the varying levels of our students.
