Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs)

ENLIGHT Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) offer a unique opportunity to combine online learning with a short period of face-to-face instruction at one of our partner universities across Europe. BIPs allow credits to be gained towards your University of Galway degree programme while participating in an international experience. Eligible students can apply for Erasmus+ funding to help cover the costs of participation in the on-site element.

What opportunities are available?

The next group of BIPs running from January to July 2027 will be advertised on this page from October 2026.

To get an idea of the types of opportunities available please look at the ENLIGHT courses page: Courses blended intensive programme (Erasmus+ or SEMP funding). The below table highlights a few courses Galway students are attending in semester 1 2026.

All courses may be counted towards your degree and are taught in English (unless specified).
