How to access payslips online

Online payslips are available to view from 9.30 a.m. on pay day

Who has access to Payslips online?

Current staff (including employees paid on timesheet) and retired staff should access their payslips online via the internet. You must ensure your campus account is activated to allow access to your payslips online.

This service has many advantages as follows:

  • allow you to access your payslips 24 hours a day
  • allow access to previous payslips
  • help make efficiencies in processing and printing
  • reduce our carbon footprint
  • make checking your payslip more flexible and secure

How to access payslips online

Your username is your email address with your 8 digit Staff ID number (StaffID@universityofgalway.ie)

Log into CorePortal using your campus account credentials to access payslips online

Before leaving the University

Please download copies of your payslips for future reference. We recommend saving the last payslip from each of the past five years, as well as all payslips from the last 12 months prior to your leaving date.

Access to all menus on Core Portal, except for your payslips, will end on your last day of employment. However, you will have access to your online payslips for 30 days after your leaving date. After this period, it will no longer be possible to access your payslips.
