Late Entry Seating Advice
Late Entry Seating Advice
Registered students in either of the following scenarios should follow the below process to correct their examination timetable.
For non-registered students please refer to the below FAQ for next steps.
Scenarios:
- Student is missing a personal exam timetable.
- Student is missing an exam(s) from their personal exam timetable.
Process:
- Email: the student should email from their student email account to askregistry@universityofgalway.ieproviding the following information:
- Student name
- Student ID number
- Course Instance
- Missing Exam Module(s) Code & title
- Student Registry Helpdesk: where relevant will
- Schedule:the student for the missing exam(s)
- Confirm: by email to the student details of the examination (date, time and venue) or next steps/ actions required.
Late Entry Seating FAQs
I do not have an exam timetable and I am pre-registered for my programme, how do I register?
Students with a pre-registered status should first contact the Fees office for fee clearance. Upon receipt of fees clearance, students should email a request to register to the Registration Team registration@universityofgalway.ie. Upon confirmation of registration from the Registration team, students should follow the above Late Entry seating process.
I transferred to a different programme and I do not have an exam timetable?
Students who transferred programmes and do not have the correct timetable should follow the above Late Entry seating process and include details of programme transfer in the email.
I changed modules and they are not on my exam timetable, how do I fix it?
Students who changed modules and who do not have the correct timetable should first check that they are registered for the module on their student curriculum via the Student Portal. If not registered, students should email a request to register to the Registration team registration@universityofgalway.ie. Upon confirmation of registration from the Registration team, students should follow the above Late Entry seating process.
I am registered for a module on Canvas but the module is not on my Student Curriculum or my Exam timetable, how do I fix this?`
If you are not registered for a module on your student curriculum (Student Portal) but you have access to the module on your Canvas, please email the Registration team registration@universityofgalway.ie Upon confirmation of registration from the Registration Team, students should follow the above Late Entry seating process.
