How to apply for a PPSN
Before you complete the New Employee set up form:
The individual must provide a PPS Number to be set up on Payroll & they should provide proof of the number to the hiring manager.
Employees that have moved to Ireland for this employment and have no PPS number must apply for one before being set up on payroll. How to apply for PPS number.
An exceptional application process for a PPS number is in place for invited guest lecturers who will remain as Non-Tax Residents - Please see Guest Lecturer / Speaker Information for further information on this process
