Micro-credential Overview

Is í aidhm an mhodúil seo léargas a thabhairt don fhoghlaimeoir ar phróiseas na pleanála teanga i gcás na Gaeilge in Éirinn an lae inniu. Tá sé d’aidhm ag an modúl go bhfaighidh an foghlaimeoir tuiscint ar an bpleanáil teanga (i) mar phróiseas céimnithe comhordaithe agus (ii) mar chur chuige acadúil comhtháite. Déanfar iniúchadh córasachar phróiseas na pleanála teanga agus ar na céimeanna éagsúla mar chuid den phróiseas sin. Cuirfear an foghlaimeoir ag machnamh ar cheisteanna a bhaineann le próiseas na pleanála teanga ag leibhéal an phobail i gcás na hÉireann agus na Gaeilge. Tabharfar blaiseadh praiticiúil de phróiseas na pleanála teanga do na mic léinn trí tharraingt ar roinnt mhaith de na pleananna teanga atá foilsithe cheana féin.

Mode of Study and Assessment

The mode of study for this Micro-credential is Blended Learning (in-person and online). Assessment will be carried out on a continuous basis.

From the 1st April 2024 you can apply for any University of Galway Micro-credential through our Online Application Portal

When completing your application please make sure to select the following categories:

Academic level: Micro-credentials and CPD
College/Interest type: Micro-credentials/CPD Undergrad Level 7 and 8
Academic programme: Arts & Social Science Micro-credentials - CPB17

Course Fees

€500*

Subsided fee: €250

*Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria may qualify for a 50% fee subsidy, subject to the availability of subsidised places. For eligibility details, please refer to the Eligibility Criteria on the Micro-credentials webpage.

Applicants must be over 21 years of age.
