Micro-credential Overview

Scientific Arts: Studying how the brain perceives the world through creative practice.
Scientific Arts is an interdisciplinary micro-credential in which students will learn: (1) how the brain perceives the world through the senses and builds predictive models of our environments, and (2) how this shapes our actions and interactions with objects and other agents. Students will express and illustrate their learning through creative practices, including artistic and technological media. Students will participate in lectures, seminars, and arts and creative technology workshops.

Mode of Study and Assessment

The mode of study for this module is blended (in-person and online).

Assessment will be carried out on a continuous basis.

Course Fees

€500*

Subsided fee: €250

*Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria may qualify for a 50% fee subsidy, subject to the availability of subsidised places. For eligibility details, please refer to the Eligibility Criteria on the Micro-credentials webpage.
