Key Facts Roundels (Widescreen) Information

This content type is designed to be used on a Widescreen page.  Key Facts Roundels (Widescreen) must have 3 roundels at a minimum.  The content type allows you to add up to a maximum of 9 roundels which are presented on your page in a carousel of 3 at a time. The example below utilises 6 Key Facts Roundels (take from the University homepage as on 22/1/2026).

The amount of characters you can use are limited:

  • Large Text has a maximum of 4 characters
  • Description Text has a maximum of 70 characters

The large Text element of the Key Fact Roundel is H3, you should ensure that you have an H1 (normally provided by the Page name) followed by an H2 above it.

How do I add the content type Key Facts Roundels (Widescreen) to my webpage?

  1. Go to the webpage where you want to add the Key Facts Roundels.
  2. Click on +Add Content
    Add Content button
  3. Choose Key Facts Roundels (Widescreen) content type
  4. Give the content a Name - this will show on your page in all caps.
  5. Insert the Large Text (maximum of 4 characters, and the Description Text (maximum of 70 characters) for each Roundel. You must add at least 3 Roundels.
  6. Roundels are displayed in groups of 3, if more than 3 roundels are added the content type becomes a carousel. 
  7. Click on Save changes to put your content on Pending

  8. Click on the small white arrow beside Save changes and choose Save and approve to approve your content.

  9. Go to the Order column, using the crosshairs, drag the content item to where you want the content to appear on your webpage.
