Widescreen Navigation Menu - Information
Why do you need an alternative menu:
When you create a website, as you add sub-sections a left hand menu is automatically applied to your website:
Should you wish to change your page layout to Widescreen, your left-hand menu will no longer be visible. You need to ensure that you provide, any visitors to your website, an alternative menu. We have a Content Type to do this called - Widescreen Navigation - which provides a menu on your page as per the image below:
How to add a Widescreen Navigation Menu to your webpage
- Go to the section you wish to add the Widescreen Navigation Menu to.
- Click on the +Add Content button
- Choose the Content type 'Widescreen Navigation'
- Add a Name in the Name field
- Click on the little white arrow beside 'Save changes' and choose 'Save and approve'
- Go to the Order column, using the crosshairs, drag the content item to where you want the content to appear on your webpage.
- Preview your page by clicking on the 'Preview' button
